"Residents of single-family dwellings can leave their Christmas trees at the curb side for collection on their garbage and recycling collection day. There will be no collections on December 25, 26 or January 1 so please refer to the collection schedule to confirm when pick-up will occur. Please cut and bundle the tree into the 3 ft x 2 ft size limit. All tinsel and ornaments must be removed.
Christmas trees can also be dropped off for recycling at one of the following locations:

Temporary Styrofoam collection
There will be a short term collection event at the Recycling Depot for moulded packing Styrofoam from December 27, 2007 to January 13, 2008 (The Depot is closed on Monday and Tuesday). The Styrofoam will be reused for insulation or landscaping material.
In order to reuse Styrofoam, it must be clean and in good condition, with no tape, paper, paint, or any other foreign objects attached.
Styrofoam chips will not be accepted.
Please do not put Styrofoam in your blue box as it is not recyclable.
