The PNE was fun!
Tickets: If you buy gate tickets at 7-11 Store before you go, they are $10. Under 5 yrs are free.
Parade: 3 & 9 p.m. - lots of cartoon floats, characters, dancers, cool cars, etc. Great for young kids. Not too long.
Farm: All the animals at the farm are worth looking at every year - especially the chicks, rabbit babies, huge cow and bull, bees, pigs, goats, and more.
Rides: Kids Playce was great for toddlers. There is an excellent kids wooden roller coaster, swing ride, helicopter ride, elephant ride, flying ride where you lay flat, big slide, face painting, bumper cars, etc. Buy $20 in ride tickets per kid. Most rides are 2-3 tickets each. Most rides let parents accompany the kid for free if needed. The big slide is fun but costs 3 tickets - too much for one slide.
Games: best prizes were where you dropped a ball down a maze like a pinball machine and caught it at the bottom.
Favorite: trampolines with the bungy cords. Kids get strapped in a harness and jump as high as they can on a trampoline. The coach assists with bouncing and stays on the trampoline. Kids can do flips if they like. It cost $10 for 3 minutes but was so worth it.
Food: favorites were fresh made potato chips, mini donuts, gelato ice cream.
Overall Review: clean, well-organized, not too busy on a Friday afternoon, found free parking on the street a few blocks away. Need to go back to see the rest!
