FARMERS & ARTISANS MARKET
Wow! Today I attended the market - it was the FIRST market in Steveston! The mayor of Richmond was there and all the other dignitaries. A stage was set up with flags on it. They tossed a salmon. All the people shopped at the tables set up. My neighbours and friends were everywhere. I danced in front of the stage while the irish dancer girls tapped - they were excellent dancers! I also danced when the drums played. I wanted to stay all day but we had to go. It was sunny and hot. A big line up for Kettle Popcorn when we left!
