OLYMPIC TORCH AT SALMON FESTIVAL
Get your picture taken with an Olympic torch when the City of Richmond and the Richmond Spirit of BC committee celebrate Canada Day at the 63rd Annual Steveston Salmon Festival on
Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Come out to our Richmond Oval/Richmond Spirit of BC information booth. Participants can get a snapshot of themselves holding an Olympic torch from the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games. There will also be free giveaways for those who drop by. City staff and community volunteers will be on hand to talk about the project’s progress and answer questions about Richmond’s role as a Venue City for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
