Highly successful inaugural Farmers Market season concludes September 28th The Steveston Farmers & Artisans Market inaugural season concludes on Sunday September 28th, 2008. The Market has become a well-loved destination during its twenty-two week run in the village of Steveston .  Starting out with fifty vendors, the Market saw weeks where as many as eighty vendors participated. This is unprecedented growth in a short period, but at the same time it is not surprising when the Market’s May 4th opening day crowd estimate was 10,000 people.  A highlight of the Steveston Farmers & Artisans Market is Chef in the Market.
