GROUSE MOUNTAIN SKATE POND

Opens Saturday, Nov 15, 2008.  It's the official start of the winter season with the opening of Vancouver’s only outdoor mountaintop ice skating pond this weekend on Grouse Mountain.

The Ice Skating Pond will be open from 9am-10pm beginning Saturday, November 15th, and is complimentary with a Grouse Mountain Annual Membership or General Admission ticket. Start a new family tradition with a weekly visit to Vancouver’s winter wonderland of adventure, just a few short minutes from home. Skate rentals are available.

LULLABY LEAGUE MIXER

Richmond Lullaby League mixer is scheduled and selling out! Our upcoming Richmond Lullaby League mixer is scheduled for Thursday, November 13 at 7:30pm at Tao Day Spa.  If you are interested (as a mom or babysitter) please let us know and send us an email as soon as possible. Previous events have sold out in a matter of days so you don't want to miss it.

Lullaby League puts moms and babysitter candidates together for one hour at fun filled mixers around town. This is a chance for the moms to meet a dozen or so University or College students who are interested in babysitting. This is also a chance for students to meet families that need

PUMPKIN DISPOSAL

October 31st, 2008
City of Richmond will remove old pumpkins left at the curb as part of the Yard Trimmings Collection Program.  The pumpkins must be securely fastened in a clear bag of manageable weight, or mixed in with the fall leaves.  Put the bag out on your designated garbage day.
