IS STEVESTON INSIDER THE SAME AS STEVESTON KIDS?

Yes.  Steveston Kids started in October 2007 and after three years of steady growth it was rebranded for a wider audience.  The target market is the local families in Steveston.

Yes!  Steveston Insider® is huge on loyalty!  Sign up to advertise for the year and save 10%!  Receive a logo on the website directory page with priority placement.  Have your ad redesigned for every issue.  NO RISK.  We are so sure that you will be happy with your ad that we guarantee it.  If you are not happy with the ad, just let us know and you can cancel it. If your ad is ever printed with a error on our part, then you don’t pay.  Members of the Steveston Merchants Association receive 10% discount.

DISTRIBUTION?

Approximately 8000 copies through Canada Post unaddressed admail in Steveston, with 2500 copies distributed to outlets throughout Steveston and surrounding areas.

WHAT IS FREE?

  • DIRECTORY LISTING:  Your business can be added to the Steveston Insider® directory for FREE.  Just send your company name, address, telephone number and brief description of your business.  If you have a website it will be linked for FREE. (Real estate listings excluded)
  • BLOG:  If you have news about your business, send it by email and it will be posted in a blog for FREE.
  • DIRECTORY IN MAGAZINE:  Your business may be mentioned in a directory that is published in the magazine FREE. (Directories are displayed differently and are not always included in the print magazine).
  • BUSINESS FEATURE:  If you are a business owner in Steveston and have an interesting story, you may be considered for a free feature story promoting you and your business.  Send us an email.
  • NON-PROFIT EVENT:  If you have an event that needs promotion it may qualify for an ad in the magazine FREE.

WEBSITE ONLY ADVERTISING?

All advertising is sold as a package and includes magazine print, online magazine, website slideshow logo box on homepage with a link to your company website, and a logo beside your directory listing with priority placement.

WHERE CAN I GET A COPY OF THE MAGAZINE?

Most businesses that advertise in the magazine have extra copies. Steveston Post Office, Tourism Visitor Booths. You are welcome to send an email and request that a copy be mailed to you.

HOW OFTEN DOES THE MAGAZINE COME OUT?

Every second month:  February 1, April 1, June 1, August 1, October 1, December 1

WHO IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER?

Sandra Steier is a professional photographer that lives in Steveston and is the Official Photographer of Steveston Insider.

MY PICTURE WAS TAKEN FOR THE MAGAZINE.  CAN I HAVE A COPY?

If you were featured on the cover of the magazine, you will receive the photo automatically as a thank you.  If you were featured as a free business promotion, photos are available through Sandra Steier Photography.  The rate is discounted and includes high-resolution photos on a cd with all rights to use the photos for your own business.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR WEBSITE ONLY ADVERTISING?

Advertising on the website is sold as a package when advertising in the print magazine.

I NOTICED THAT THE DIRECTORY LISTING IS INCORRECT, CAN IT BE FIXED?

Send an email requesting a correction, update or addition and it will be done right away.
